Today, Holy Nativity has been filled with people from all over the community as the preparations begin with the Christmas Fair. Even Mary and Joseph got involved as our #PosadaJourney made it to the cake stall!
Whether it’s finding those handmade presents and decorations or eating the homemade cakes and trifle, everyone has been enjoying themselves! “It is really important to bring the community together” said Sue O’Brien as she was serving food in the kitchen. Margaret went on to say “It’s important to put on something that people can bring all their kids to for some fun that’s affordable”.
Saint Nicholas came to see all of the kids who really loved it!
The Christmas Fair is one of the ways in which we serve the local area. This year we have been astounded that the generosity of people today has raised just over a thousand pounds by people taking part in the fun! This will help to ensure that Holy Nativity is continuing to work hard into the future for the good of the community.
It has been a lot of hard work to put together but I think we can all agree that it has been a fantastic community event! A huge thank you to everyone who made it happen and to everyone who came along.
