On 30th June we celebrated 70 years of Life with God here at Holy Nativity Mixenden.
The service of thanksgiving and celebration was led by the Bishop of Huddersfield and the Archdeacon of Halifax with special guests the Mayor of Calderdale Cllr Anne Kingstone and the Deputy Lieutenant of West Yorkshire Virginia Lloyd.
Over 90 people attended the service and celebration including former members of the church and community who came from far and wide to share their fond memories of Holy Nativity.
After the service the guests enjoyed a bring and share lunch and spent time looking through our archive of old photos and memorabilia.
