Community Support @ Holy Nativity
There’s a whole host of support available at Holy Nativity. See below for all times and dates. Some sessions also need to be booked and booking details can be found through the links in the descriptions below.
Pay as you can Café – Monday 12 until 4
Every Monday from 12:30 to 2:30 we serve a hot meal for anyone who wants it. Payment is by donation so whatever you contribute helps us to serve more people. Can’t afford to pay anything? Not a problem, everyone is welcome!
We open at noon and close at 4 so if you don’t fancy joining us for lunch why not drop by for a cuppa and a biscuit and a friendly natter.
Community drop in – Monday 12 until 4
Alongside the café you can access mental health support from our partners at Healthy Minds, get advice and referrals to other services during the week or join in with the Arts and Crafts for Wellbeing group.

Emergency Food Support
Holy Nativity wants to help as many people in urgent need as is possible. All of our support comes from and through the local community here in Mixenden which means we have limited resources to do this. Anyone in need of this type of support can be referred through one of our partners across the community. These include:
- Ash Green School and Children’s Centre
- Mixenden Stones Doctor’s Surgery
- Healthy Minds
- The Addy
- Holy Nativity Church
The process is very simple. You speak to someone at one of the organisations listed above who can complete a very short referral form with you. All you then need to do is bring that form down to the Community Drop-In between 1pm – 4pm on a Monday to have a chat with us. You’ll get a hot drink and see what other support we can give you as you collect your Emergency Food Parcel.
To ensure that the limited resources we have are able to help those who are most in need, food parcels will be available once per month per household, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
