This month, Halifax Minster have a full-sized replica of the world-famous Shroud of Turin on display.
The actual shroud is in St John’s Cathedral in Turin. By coincidence, Ruth and I have just returned from Pilgrimage in September to Assisi upon which we visited the chapel of the shroud at Turin. We also visited the shroud museum with it’s many ancient artefacts. So why not come to Holy Nativity and have a chat about our epic journey by motorbike, riding 3011 miles to central Italy. We will talk about pilgrimage, our experiences and what we made of the ancient shroud. Then we intend to go to Halifax Minster’s exhibit on Saturday 28th at noon.
Whilst this evening isn’t aimed at kids, bring them along with you if you would like.
There will be cake. Obviously.
