Going to Holy Nativity last year for Pilgrim really helped me to realise that questioning things is OK. It also helped me discover the things I find important in life.
So you’ve been wondering what this Christianity stuff is all about? You’ve got questions but you don’t know whether you can ask them? We hear them talking about this Jesus stuff like it’s real so what is it all about? This is the place for you!
This life is a journey and Pilgrim is a place to make sense of that journey. For six weeks we’re exploring what all of this church stuff is all about. This is a safe space for anyone and everyone to come and explore together what it means to be a Christian. There will be some light refreshments, some new friends and some deep and meaningful conversations. As the vicar is involved, probably a lot of laughs as well.
Come along and invite your friends to come too!
I came on Pilgrim last time, can I come again?
Yes, we’re looking at The Ten Commandments this time so it’s going to be different questions we ask with similar themes.
I’ve never been to Holy Nativity before. Can I still come?
Of course. Holy Nativity is a church for anyone and everyone. Come along and you will find a warm welcome!
What if I ask the wrong questions?
There are no wrong questions! This is a place to drink coffee and explore some of the big questions we have. What is the meaning of life? What am I supposed to do with my life? Is there a purpose to the universe? Why do Christians use funny words like Eucharist?
This is the place to find out more about yourself and more about the world in which we live!
I’ve been coming to church for a while but I still have questions. Can I come?
Of course! We’re all on a journey. We continue to explore the bigger questions throughout our whole lives. This is the place for you!
